Sometimes it pays to have a president with experience.

Joe Biden was in the Senate for decades and served as vice president. He knows how to develop legislation, and he has relationships with key players on both sides of the aisle. He has the skills to negotiate effectively to get things done.

The debt ceiling deal is the latest example of this, but he has a series of bipartisan accomplishments from which our country will benefit.

Presidents Obama and Trump both came to office with very limited experience in Washington. Both struggled with passing meaningful bipartisan legislation.

In this political environment, experience is an asset, not a liability.
