MINOT — Townspeople voted 110-31 Tuesday to approve changes to the town’s Board of Appeals ordinance.

Town Clerk Sara Farris said the ordinance had become outdated.

The updates ensure the ordinance conforms with state laws and amends language that correctly reestablishes the board, she said.

The wording of the original article approved at an earlier town meeting to establish the board was flawed, she said.
