To the Editor:
Dear Bethel Voters,
On Tuesday, June 13, you have a choice on the Selectpersons’ ballot, and I am asking for your vote. Bethel has been my home for nearly 40 years, and it would be a privilege to represent you at the Selectboard table.
My first 17 years here I worked at Sunday River and American Skiing Company. Since then, I have remained local and worked in an entrepreneurial and small business environment. And throughout my time in town, I have been involved in numerous community service organizations. All of this has been a great experience and given me insight and perspective that can only help in serving the town as a Selectperson.
There is always room for improvement. Town operations are best when municipal decisions are made in the open and based on facts. If elected, I will insist on a fair public process for Bethel which includes transparency of information and accountability for results.
Your vote really does matter. Thank you.

Editor’s Note: We normally do not run political letters the week prior to an election. However, Ms. Varuolo Cole submitted her letter in time for last week’s edition but due to no error of hers, it did not run in the proper edition of the Bethel Citizen. We regret this error and, therefore, as it is simply an announcement, we are running it in this edition.
