LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank announces five new corporators were appointed at its 2023 annual meeting.

They are Ray DeBlois, Adilah Muhammad, Sharon Reishus, Josh Soley and John Wipfler. As active leaders in their communities and areas of expertise, they bring valuable perspectives to the bank’s economic and community initiatives.

“We are excited to welcome such a talented group of individuals who bring a wealth of insights and experience,” said Neil Kiely, president and chief executive officer of Androscoggin Bank. “We know they will have a significant, positive impact on our initiatives to better serve our clients and our communities.”

DeBlois is the chief financial officer of DeBlois Electric, an electrical contractor providing residential and commercial services to customers statewide. He joined the family business in 1993. In 2019, he led the management transition of the family-owned business to a 100% employee-owned organization.

Muhammad is the executive director and founder of The Third Place — a cross-sector networking organization within Maine’s ecosystem of community builders, entrepreneurs and professionals of African descent. Prior to founding The Third Place, she worked as an independent strategic planning and research consultant for 15 years and continues to co-operate her real estate investment company.

Reishus has over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, providing strategic and policy insights, as well as serving as an independent board director to organizations in other regulated sectors facing similar challenges, such as Community Health Options in Lewiston, and Unity Environmental University headquartered in New Gloucester.

Soley began his career in commercial real estate in 2011 as an asset manager for Lincoln Center Property Management where he oversaw more than one million square feet of retail, office and industrial space throughout southern Maine. In 2014, he launched Maine Realty Advisors, a firm that consistently has been a leader in both commercial brokerage and asset management and specializes in investment sales in Maine, Vermont, New York, Maryland and Florida.

Wipfler has been a health care executive for the past 25 years as the chief executive officer of Eyecare Medical Group, the chief executive officer of Orthopaedic Associates and as chief operating officer of Spectrum Medical Group. Prior to that, he practiced health care law at Pierce Atwood in Portland, was an assistant attorney general for the state of Maine and served as executive director of the Maine Health Care Finance Commission.
