BETHEL — At this week’s meeting of the Bethel Rotary Club, we enjoyed an informative presentation by new member Joan Nichols who talked about her career and upbringing, and what led her to live in the Bethel area.

President Jean Benedict also presented Kate Webb, the program coordinator of Bethel Area Arts & Music, a nontraditional scholarship
award of $1,000, to assist her in her post-graduate studies in nonprofit management.
