DEAR SUN SPOTS: This is a reminder that the First Auburn Senior Citizens has tables to rent for its Flea Market on May 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Senior Community Center in Pettengill Park, Auburn. No crafters, please.

Tables are $10 each. Set-up is May 5 from noon to 4 p.m. Sellers can arrive at 8 a.m. on May 6 and will have from 3 to 4 p.m. for breakdown and cleanup. To reserve a table, call me at 576-1535. — Jan, no town

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Thank you for letting people know about our library. We have enjoyed making new friends and connecting with old ones. We will hold the last puzzle library for the season May 15 so folks can stock up for those rainy summer days, and we’ll be back in the fall.

We are at the North Waterford Congregational Church in North Waterford and are open from 1 to 3 p.m. every Monday until May 15. — Milly, North Waterford

ANSWER: I’m glad you’ve had a good response and the idea of a puzzle library is genius. My compliments to whoever had the brilliant idea! See you in the fall!

We could also use snack items and disposable diapers for our pantry. You’ll find our Wish List on Amazon here: https://a.co/7FjPly2 and on Walmart here: https://bit.ly/36OhDM3 .

Volunteers are also needed. Our Soup Kitchen has shifts for dishwashing, food prep, mopping floors and picking up food donations. It’s not glamorous work, but it gets our neighbors the food they need. It’s helpful if a volunteer can commit to doing the same shift every week. We just don’t have the workforce to train new volunteers on every shift. Find our volunteer application here:  https://www.trinityjubileecenter.org/volunteer-application/ or go to the web site at https://www.trinityjubileecenter.org/volunteer/ to learn more. — No name, no town

ANSWER: Sun Spots readers, please step up and help this organization if at all possible. If everyone does one small thing to help in the community it can make a huge difference.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Members of the Heywood Club remind everyone the Annual Seven Mile Yard Sale will be held Saturday, June 10, on Crockett Ridge in Norway. We will accept donations after May 13, but we cannot accept large furniture and appliances, electronics, books, magazines and clothes.

This sale not only helps the club, but all our neighbors who join in on that day and have their own sales. I’m told that there have been some good finds hiding in those sales so please come join in the fun and find that one good bargain you have been looking for. If you have questions call me at 890-2103 or call Beth at 461-2334. — Barbara, no town
