There are too many new vehicles.
Lewiston Public Works is again spending $1.5 million on vehicles it doesn’t need. The City Council is allowing this, but wants to cut pennies from the Lewiston Public Library. Shame on the council.
I urge the council to really take a hard look at LPW. All the vehicles are new. If they have rust, it’s their own fault. The amount of salt they use is ridiculous.
