STANDISH — Aries Plourde logged three goals and four assists to lead Gray-New Gloucester/Poland to a 9-5 boys lacrosse victory over Bonny Eagle on Saturday.

Noah Schaeffer scored twice and Kyle Plummer made 15 saves for the 26ers (2-1).

Connor Krunkkala led the Scots (0-2) with two goals. Mason Leblanc stopped 10 shots.

MCI 14, ST. DOMINIC 11: The Huskies (1-1) emerged from a high-scoring battle with a victory over the Saints (1-1) in Pittsfield.

Neither team’s offense took long to warm up, each plating nine runs in the first three innings.

MCI led 7-2 after two innings. St. Dom’s scored seven in the top of the third to go ahead 9-7, with Sophia Franciose, Aiva Dorman, Aubrey Fortin, Charli Apodaca and Madeline Andrews all driving in runs.

The Huskies brought in two more runs in the bottom of the third then went up for good with three runs in the fourth.

Kayleigh Dunton led MCI’s offense with two hits, including a double, and a pair of RBIs. Trinity Leavitt also drove in two runs. Winning pitcher Kassie Snowman struck out nine and allowed seven hits and six walks in seven innings.

St. Dom’s Emily Andrews went 3 for 5, scored twice and drove in a run. Ellia Dick also had a pair of hits. Madeline Andrews struck out nine in six innings while giving up seven hits and five walks.
