On Feb. 24 I viewed a film on TV, “King in the Wilderness,” which presented the values, character and the activities of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
May I say that I personally consider, and I realize that I am a white American stating this, that I have always viewed the Rev. King as the single greatest American of the 20th century.
And, thinking of human history, and the Rev. King’s values, character and activities, I could also state that he was one of the very greatest human beings in the world during the 20th century.
Last, I state the above with humility, since I do not raise myself to the height and depth, the great humanity, of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
