Where does it end?
As I write this on Feb. 28, the U.S. Supreme Court is hearing arguments pertaining to President Biden’s college loan forgiveness program. In what world is it logical or reasonable that a sitting president has the right to forgive individual debt, then have the rest of the citizens pay it back to the tune of $400 billion?
Absurd as it sounds, millions upon millions of citizens think nothing of it. A loan is a loan, regardless of what for. Liability rests solely on the person taking out the loan; that’s life.
May the court use common sense in this matter.
