TURNER — A Colorado man appeared in court Monday, two days after his arrest following a collision on Route 4 on Saturday afternoon, Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Bill Gagne said.
Jordan White, 25, of 6783 Snowshoe Trail in Evergreen, Colorado, is charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of methamphetamines, driving to endanger and operating without a license, Gagne said.
He is being held on $15,000 cash bail, the chief deputy said.
White was driving erratically around 2:44 p.m. in his 2022 Nissan Rogue when it hit a 2012 Honda Pilot driven by Emma Beedy, 16, of Turner and destroyed two telephone poles, Gagne said. White was taken to a hospital for a minor head injury.
Roads were reopened at 6:51 p.m.
The investigation is continuing, Gagne said.
