Athletes start the course Thursday during training for the ATSX Ice Cross World Championship series race at Lost Valley in Auburn. Close to 100 will compete Saturday in groups of four racing down the ski area on a course made from ice. Time trials are Friday from 8 to 11 p.m. Racing starts at 11 a.m. Saturday with a junior race.
