NORWAY — Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, plans to reopen its Thrift Shoppe from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 4.
Because of donations from the Oxford Hills Community, the 205 Main St. shop will feature a Christmas clearance section, including household items, dishes, glassware, books, jewelry, linens, toys and antiques, according to a news release from the church.
All items are clean, in good working order and reasonably priced. Some are new, and some are gently used.
The money raised by the store will support the missions of the community church, which include the monthly free drive thru supper, online and in-person worship services, Sunday school, Bible study, children’s theater, and knitting and book groups.
