OXFORD — Fire destroyed a home Sunday at 99 Coldwater Brook Road.
No one was home when the fire was reported in the split-level home about 2:20 p.m. A dog died in the fire, Oxford Fire Chief Paul Hewey said.
Mutual aid was provided by fire departments from Paris, Norway and Otisfield. Hewey added that fire departments from Androscoggin and Cumberland counties also assisted with manpower.
There were no reported injuries.
While the cause of the fire remains under investigation, the fire is considered accidental, Hewey said.
According to town records, the property is owned by Joseph Bourassa.
