LEWISTON — Natalie Beaudoin dropped in a game-high 22 points and Koral Morin added another 20 as the Lewiston cruised to a 65-31 victory over winless Noble in a girls basketball game on Saturday.
Skylar Gaudette added another 11 points for the Blue Devils (2-5).
Emily Clark led Noble (0-7) with nine points.
KENTS HILL 61, WINTHROP 55: Rose Jenkins scored 22 points as the Huskies (5-0) remained undefeated with a win over the Ramblers at Readfield.
Regina Sabirova added 15 points and Logan McDonald 14 for Kents Hill, which led 26-15 after one quarter.
Madeline Wagner scored 20 points for Winthrop (7-3), 13 on free throws, while Ella Rice added 15 points and Morgan Fichthorn 14.
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 48, LAKE REGION 38: Caitlin Taylor scored 13 points and Ali Portas was right behind with 12 as the Patriots (6-1) pulled away from the Lakers (5-2) in a matchup of two of the WMC’s top teams in Gray.
Ava Smith scored a game-high 14 points for Lake Region, including eight free throws.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 83, TELSTAR 23: Eleven players contributed points for the unbeaten Phoenix (8-0) in their victory over the Rebels (2-4) in Bethel.
Olivia Mastine led Spruce Mountain with 20 points, while Jaydn Pingree scored 14, Aubrey Kachnovich added 11 and Avery Bessey hit two 3-pointers and scored eight points.
Morgan Zetts scored a team-high 19 points for Telstar.
FREEPORT 66, POLAND 43: Angel Pillsbury scored 27 points, including seven 3-pointers, and the Falcons (3-4) broke it open with a 24-4 third-quarter surge against the visiting Knights (0-7) .
Pillsbury scored 14 points in the third quarter, when the Falcons built a 49-22 lead.
Emily Groves finished with 13 points and Sydney Gelhar had 11 for Freeport.
Althea Thornton led Poland with 23 points.
BOYS BASKETBALL
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 91, LAKE REGION 68: Nate Hebert got hot from the perimeter and sank seven 3-pointers and amassed the game-high 42 points in the Patriots’ victory over the Lakers in Gray.
Noah Hebert (16 points), Max Kenney (15) and Mike Ryan (10) all ended up in double digits for Gray-New Gloucester (6-2)
Jackson Libby scored a team-high 30 points for Lake Region (3-5).
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 60, BUCKFIELD 29: The Falcons (3-4) pulled away from the Bucks (1-6) with a 28-point third quarter to earn an MVC road win in Buckfield.
The Bucks kept the game close in the first half. The score was tied 8-8 after one quarter and Mountain Valley led 17-12 at halftime. Then eight Falcons players combined for 28 points to grow the lead to 45-19 after three quarters.
Jake New finished with a team-high 15 points for Mountain Valley. Zach New added 13, Ben DeSalle scored 10 and Seneca Jones had nine.
Buckfield’s Gavin Charest scored a game-high 19 points, while Ayden Jefferson contributed eight.
MT. ABRAM 65, CARRABEC 40: Payton Mitchell scored a game-high 19 points to lead the Roadrunners past the Cobras 65-40 in Salem.
Kaden Pillsbury added 15 points for the Roadrunners (5-2), while Bryce Wilcox chipped in 13.
Carrabec (3-4) was led by Luke Carey’s 18 points, and Joel Gehrke scored 17.
DIRIGO 79, MADISON 51: Charlie Houghton scored 22 points and Nathan Wainwright added 15 as the undefeated Cougars (9-0) rolled past Madison (1-5) in Dixfield.
Airick Richards dropped in another 11 points for Dirigo.
Callan Franzose scored the game-high 30 points, including 7-for-8 shooting at the free-throw line, for Madison.
OXFORD HILLS 74, MASSABESIC 32: Holden Shaw scored 15 points as the Vikings (8-1) overpowered the winless Mustangs (0-7) in Waterboro.
Tanner Bickford and Eli Laverdiere added eight points apiece for Oxford Hills, and Teigan Pelletier and Lincoln Merrill each scored seven.
Josiah Vigue scored 11 points for Massabesic.
WINTHROP 56, LISBON 49: Braden Brannagan and Matt Beck dropped in 14 points apiece as the Ramblers (4-6) held court at home against the Greyhounds (4-4) in Winthrop.
Winthrop converted 17 free throws and seven different players made baskets.
Levi Tibbetts and Chase Mailhot paced Lisbon with 20 and 18 points, respectively.
BREWER 58, MT. BLUE 52: Brock Flagg scored 18 points and went an even 8-for-8 from the charity stripe to lead the undefeated Witches (8-8) past the Cougars (5-3) in Farmington.
Brewers’ Brady Saunders helped out with his 14 points and Evan Nadeau had 10.
Zach Poisson scored 17 points and went 5-for-7 at the free-throw line to keep the Cougars on course. Chandler Briggs added 13 points for Mt. Blue.
BOOTHBAY 55, OAK HILL 43: The Seahawks (4-3) outscored the Raiders (1-7) 35-17 in the second half and left Wales with an MVC win.
Both teams had balanced offensive efforts. Boothbay’s Luke Morley led all scorers with 13 points, while Gryffin Kristan contributed 12 points to the victory, Kayden Ames had 10 and Ryan Amarol and Finn Harkins each scored nine.
Eli Desmond led Oak Hill with 12 points, and Cooper Scott and Gage Spier each tallied 10.
ST. DOMINIC 68, PINE TREE 41: Matt Fecteau led a balanced offense with 11 points as the Saints (3-5) defeated the Breakers (0-3) in Freeport.
Silas Yeaton scored 11 points for Pine Tree Academy.
LEWISTON 67, NOBLE 61: Yusuf Dakane led a trio of Blue Devils (7-2) players who scored at least 15 points as Lewiston held off the Knights (3-4) in North Berwick.
Dakane scored a game-high 23 points, Jibril Holloman dropped in 19 and Eli Bigelow added 15.
Jamier Rose scored a team-high 21 points for Noble, which trailed 30-18 at halftime before drawing close in the second half. Bryce Guitard and Jayden Dameron pitched in with 14 and 12 points, respectively.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 73, TELSTAR 22: Elie Timler led a Phoenix (8-1) offense that featured 10 different scorers in a win over the Rebels (1-5) in Jay.
Timler poured in 15 points, Cai Dougher dropped in 11 and Ian York netted 10.
Levi-Cole McDonnell paced Telstar with eight points.
GIRLS HOCKEY
MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE/LINCOLN/OCEANSIDE/BOOTHBAY 5, BIDDEFORD/THORNTON/WELLS/SANFORD 0: Mallory Stuart scored a pair of goals and the Eagles (5-2) broke the game open in the second period on their way to a win over the Tigers (2-6-1) in Biddeford.
Stuart scored the lone goal of the first period, then added another in the second, along with Allie Hunter and Marley LeBel. Hannah Hawkes rounded out the scoring in the third. Breanna Eaves and Maggie Fitzpatrick tallied assists for the Eagles.
BOYS HOCKEY
EDWARD LITTLE 3, SCARBOROUGH 1: Campbell Cassidy scored twice and added an assist for the Red Eddies in their win over the Red Storm at Norway Savings Bank in Auburn.
Andrew Clements scored in the third period for Edward Little (6-1) and Peyton Dyer had an assist.
Gage Ducharme only needed to make nine saves for the win.
Daniel Polinser scored in the third period for Scarborough (5-2), and Keegan Weed had 21 saves in goal.
