DIXFIELD — Madi Dow and Brooke Brown each dropped in 12 points for Mountain Valley in a 43-34 victory over rival Dirigo on Monday.
Jayce Brophy led all scorers with 20 points for Dirigo and Grace Robbins added 10 points.
Both teams evened their records at 3-3.
CARRABEC 57, BUCKFIELD 23: Molly Hay led the Cobras (1-4) with 21 points in the win against the Bucks in Buckfield.
Lindsay Hamilton chipped in with 13 points for Carrabec.
Kaydence Edwards and Emma Hooper each scored five points for Buckfield (0-5).
HALL-DALE 78, MT. ABRAM 39: KJ Greenhalgh paced the Bulldogs (6-0) with 18 points in a win over the Roadrunners (1-4) in Salem.
Amanada Trepanier was right behind Greenhalgh, with 17 points, while Hayden Madore dropped in 15 points. Marie Benoit chipped in with 10 points.
Abi Wilcox led Mt. Abram with 10 points and Bailea Haines finished with nine.
GIRLS HOCKEY
FALMOUTH/SCARBOROUGH 10, GREELY/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Audrey Farnham had three goals and two assists to lead Falmouth/Scarborough (1-4-1) to a 10-0 win over Greely/Gray-New Gloucester (0-9) in Falmouth.
Morgan Adams and Hope Melevsky each added a goal and two assists, Emerson Roy and Trinity Grenier finished with a goal and an assist, and Elizabeth Brown, Addie Morneault and Lainey Bender also scored for Falmouth/Scarborough.
JUNIOR HOCKEY
NORDIQUES’ COUPE NAMED TOP STAR: Maine Nordiques forward Aidan Coupe was named North American Hockey League East Division first star of the week, the league announced Monday.
The 20-year-old from Gilbert, Arizona, scored game-winning goals Friday and Saturday night against the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks. He now has three goals and nine assists in 26 games this season.
Teammate and Sanford native Oliver Genest was named East Division honorable mention after scoring a goal in Friday’s 5-3 victory and scoring and adding an assist in Saturday’s 5-1 win.
