The First Universalist Church of West Paris holds services at 9 a.m. Sundays at 208 Main St.
Tom Coolidge will perform music, according to a news release from Suzanne Dunham, church board member.
Scheduled services are as follows:
Jan. 8: “Practically Perfect,” led by guest speaker Cynthia Reedy.
Jan. 15: “When Evil Confronts Us,” led by The Rev. Fayre Stephenson. In honoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., church members will consider the slow journey to understand how deeply racism enters people’s own lives and how it affects us all.
Jan. 22: “Hope and Joy,” led by guest speaker Rodney Abbott.
Jan. 29, “American Grace,” led by Stephenson. Using Robert Putnam’s book, “American Grace,” as a guide, at this service congregants will explore how, in this time of liberal and conservative polarization, interfaith ties are at the same time strengthening on a personal level.
