Bates College senior Meghan Graff has been selected as the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches co-Player of the Week, sharing the honor with Bowdoin’s Sydney Jones.

Graff, who is from South Portland, led the Bobcats to a pair of victories last week. She scored 19 points and tallied five rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 64-61 win over Husson. Then she put up 28 points on 12-of-19 shooting while pulling down a season-high six rebounds, matching her career high with six steals and assisting on four baskets in Bates’ 86-63 victory over St. Joseph’s.

Graff is now ranked fifth on Bates’ all-time scoring list. She continued her hot streak with 33 points in Tuesday’s 74-48 win over Colby.

Bobcats freshman Sophie Spolter was listed on the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Rookie of the Week honor roll after scoring 10 points and making four of her five field goal attempts against St. Joseph’s.

BOWDOIN 88, UMF 26: The Polar Bears (6-1) opened with a 14-0 run and easily handled the Beavers (1-7) at Brunswick.

Emily Collins came off the bench to lead a balanced attack with 10 points for Bowdoin.

Grace Dwyer had 10 points to lead UMaine-Farmington.
