Real Christmas trees are nice. They look fantastic, smell delightful and at the end of the Christmas season, there’s no tedious packing it all away; you just toss that dried out sucker to the curb and you’re done.

Artificial trees are swell, too. No pine needles dropped on the rug to come back and stab your feet over and over for the remainder of the year. No cutting for size, no sap-sticky hands, no bitter battles with a persnickety tree stand.

But there’s no need to fight over all of this.

If you’re a real tree enthusiast, we’d like to hear from you. If you’ve made the switch to artificial, we’d love to hear your thoughts as well. Photos of you and your tree are highly encouraged. Make your arguments to staff writer Mark LaFlamme at mlaflamme@sunjournal.com or call 200-1481.
