Bonny Bishop is running for state representative for District 77, which includes Canton, Peru, Dixfield, Mexico, Hartford and part of Livermore.

Bonny has always been a “people” and “animal” person. Being a former Girl Scout herself, she went on to assist the Girl Scouts. She became a Big Sister and a literacy volunteer.

Volunteering for the cancer center and palliative care at Eastern Maine Medical Center, she is a hospice volunteer who has been with many people at end of life.

Bonny has adopted many animals from shelters over the years, and she also volunteered at the Wildlife Center in Vassalboro to help injured and orphaned animals.

Currently, she fills in at the Buckfield-Sumner Swap Shop and is on Hartford’s Ordinance, Solid Waste and Recycling committees.

She is a lady who is easy to talk to, and she listens.
