Brutus has all the best qualities you could want in a dog. Super good boy? Check. Good with people? Check. Good with other dogs? Check. Insanely handsome? Check. Loving and loyal companion? Check.
Brutus finds himself at the shelter because his prior owners were no longer able to take care of him. They tell us that Brutus is good with dogs, good with kids, good with strangers…and he was good with the cat in his home (though it may depend on the cat). Brutus has really been missing his family and doesn’t know why he’s at the shelter. He is feeling lonely and wants to be part of a family again so badly.
This big-boned boy would love to cuddle on the couch with you and he won’t care if you’re watching NASCAR or Dancing with the Stars. He’ll ignore your questionable fashion choices, like wearing socks with sandals or not giving up on your skinny jeans and he won’t judge you when you eat ice cream right out of the container. Brutus enjoys car rides, using his sniffer, and just being with his family. Brutus is a little over 2 years old and he does require a 6-foot fence.
If you think Brutus is what has been missing from your life, call the shelter at 743-8679 or fill out our adoption application at www.responsiblepetcare.org/dogs for more information. We’d love to see this guy enjoying family life again.
