NORWAY — The Thrift Shoppe at the Second Congregational Church, 205 Main St. plans to reopen from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29.
The shop is filled with new and vintage items. All items are clean, neatly displayed and reasonably priced. Proceeds from the Thrift Shoppe support the many missions of the community church, according to a news release from Kate Wood, organizer.
Also planned on Oct. 29 will be the shop’s last outdoor, under-tents yard sale for this year, scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Organizers also are accepting donations, higher quality donations are sought that are more suitable for a thrift shop than a yard sale.
Holiday items also are needed. Items can be dropped off at the barn, through the parking lot door. The following items will not be accepted: computers, car seats, cribs, weapons, or clothes.
