Harper Chance of Auburn takes a note Wednesday night from one of more than a dozen giant photos and diagrams of downtown Lewiston at the Lewiston Public Library. People were invited to help improve the area as the city works on the Riverfront Island Master Plan, which was created in 2012 and updated this summer. It includes the canals, the riverfront trail, Simard-Payne Memorial Park and Veterans Memorial Park. The update will look at better access to the riverfront from Lisbon Street and a market analysis for economic development efforts. Chance said getting to Simard-Payne Memorial Park is more difficult from Lewiston than from Auburn. Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal
