I am writing this letter in support of Robert “Bob” McCarthy, who is running for state representative of District 93 in Lewiston.

I have known Bob for over 35 years and can truly say he is a man who is honest, hard-working and sincere. His commitment to his family, friends and community is unquestionable.

Bob has a genuine concern for the residents of Lewiston. He is intelligent, and his knowledge and experience with political issues is impressive. He has the ability to lead with compassion and can make decisions with common sense and accountability.

There is an opportunity to make some changes this election. A vote for Robert McCarthy on Nov. 8 would be a vote for growing the economy, a vote to seek lowering Lewiston’s tax burden, a vote for a safe and prosperous community, and a vote to promote a viable future for its citizens and generations to come.
