Under the watch of interested shoppers, Rebel Nelson, 7, erases the chalkboard Sunday at the Lewiston Farmers’ Market on Oxford Street. Nelson is the daughter of the Elizabeth Nelson, the market manager, and helps at the market. The Lewiston Farmers’ Market is set to continue at its outdoor location “until the snow flies,” Elizabeth Nelson says. The city of Lewiston is planning to hold an open house from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Callahan Hall at the Lewiston Public Library for the Riverfront Island master plan. The city plans to collect public input on the future of the city’s canals, parks and pedestrian pathways. Nelson urges those who value the Lewiston Farmers’ Market to show up and lend their voices.
