U.S. Congress candidate Bruce Poliquin claims President Biden and all Democrats have caused all the inflation and high gas prices. That is not true.

Has Poliquin forgotten about the pandemic that’s disrupted the global supply chain? The war in Ukraine that’s caused high gas prices?

Ukraine’s wheat production is down 41 percent, and Russia burned some wheat fields. Drought and extreme weather from climate change has affected America’s food production, too. This has caused food shortages and higher food prices. Demand is outpacing the supply chain.

The entire world is dealing with inflation, high gas prices and product shortages. Millions lost jobs because of the pandemic, especially women with small children; it seems daycares have closed.

We all hate paying more for everything. The Democrats have not single-handedly caused this global crises. Republicans cannot single-handedly fix this global crises, and neither can Poliquin.
