TURNER — Leavitt scored a trio of goals in the second half for a 3-1 win over visiting Oxford Hills in KVAC boys soccer action Tuesday.

Logan Berube notched a goal and an assist for the Hornets (2-8). Brayden Greenlaw and Garrett Gaudin also scored for Leavitt.

Connor Doyle scored the Vikings’ (0-10) lone goal in the second half.

Vanya Bezhenar stopped six shots in goal for the Hornets while Emmett Hand stopped seven shots for the Vikings.

LEWISTON 3, BRUNSWICK 2: The Blue Devils (7-2-1) held on for a key KVAC win over the Dragons (7-2-1) in Lewiston.

Lewiston led 2-0 at halftime but Brunswick scored twice in the second half.

The Blue Devils’ goal-scorers were David Abdi, Jacinto Mavinga and Kudra Heri. Shafi Ibrahim tallied two assists in the win.

Luke Patterson and Jack Banks scored for the Dragons.

WELLS 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, OT: Santiago Fitch-Curry flashed a pair of goals, including the winner on a corner kick with 1:30 play in the first overtime session as the Warriors (3-8) topped the visiting Patriots (3-6-1) at Wells.

Spencer Carpenter and Derrick Martin also scored for Wells.

WAYNFLETE 6, ST. DOMINIC 0: Myles Culley put up three goals and one assist to help the Flyers (9-1) beat the Saints (2-6-1) in Auburn.

Andrew Rogers and Bryan Stark-Chessa added one goal apiece in the first half for Waynflete. Reid Robinson also scored. Nico Kirby made one save in the shutout.

GIRLS SOCCER
MT. BLUE 1, BREWER 0: A goal off a first-half corner kick was all the Cougars (10-0) needed to defeat the Witches (7-2) in Farmington.

Meren Zeliger’s corner kick two minutes into the game found Elisa Mezzoli, who put Mt. Blue on the board. Tuesday’s game was the first time all season that Mt. Blue’s KK Daggett was held scoreless.

Caitlin Burke made five saves for the Cougars to secure the shutout, while Bella Tanis stopped 13 shots in goal for Brewer.

HALL-DALE 6, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN/DIRIGO 0: Bethany Ives scored a hat trick in the Bulldogs’ (11-0) win over the Phoenix (5-5) in Farmingdale.

Rita Benoit scored a pair of goals and added an assist. Sierra Gibbons also scored in the win. Marie Benoit set up two goals.

Aubrey Gilbert did not need to make any saves in goal for Hall-Dale while Emma Towers stopped 14 shots for Spruce Mountain/Dirigo.

OAK HILL 3, LISBON 1: Ava Rivet supplied a goal and an assist for the Raiders’ (3-7) victory over the Greyhounds (1-7) in Wales.

Peyton Gonya and Aubrey McElhaney also scored in the victory.

Erin Coffin tallied Lisbon’s lone goal.

MacKenzie Vattasso and Kendall Theriault combined to make four saves in the win. Alivia Field made nine saves for the Greyhounds.

LAKE REGION 7, POLAND 0: Hayli Goodwin scored four goals as the Lakers (5-5) beat the Knights (1-9) in Naples.

Margo Tremblay added two goals and Melissa Mayo had one for Lake Region. Emily Rock made five saves to earn the shutout.

FIELD HOCKEY
OXFORD HILLS 5, CONY 1: Allegra Meagher and Tristen Derenburger each scored twice for the Vikings (8-2-1) in the win over the Rams (6-6) in Paris.

Derenburger also provided two assists. Miah Gallan scored in the win and Ali Slicer notched two assists.

Kiarra Marriner scored in the third quarter for Cony.

Gabby Wright stopped 11 shots for the Vikings and Avery Maxim had eight saves for the Rams.

LAKE REGION 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/NYA 1: Audrey Philbrook scored a pair of fourth-quarter goals, the first on an assist from Kasey Johnson, as the Lakers (3-5-1) topped the Patriots (3-7-1) in Naples.

Greta Tod scored in the first quarter for GNG/NYA to open the scoring, but Emma Nadeau put home a pass from Mya King in the second to pull Lake Region even heading to halftime.

Lorenza Piper stopped four shots for the Patriots.

ST. DOMINIC 5, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: The Saints (8-0) steadily pulled away from the Rangers (0-7) in Kittery.
St. Dom’s scored two goals in the first quarter, then one apiece in each period after that.

Emily Andrews opened the scoring and tallied a second goal in the third quarter. Ava Martin, Madeline Andrews and Isabella Pelletier all added goals for the Saints.

Maia Cote made one save to secure the shutout.
