BETHEL — Cathi DiCocco, popular professional chef, will present a program, “Healthy Eating: Tune Up for Winter,” on two separate dates, Tuesday, October 18 and Tuesday, October 25, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in her home at 125 Main Street, Bethel. The same program will be presented on each date. Since space is limited in DiCocco’s dining room, reservations will be required. They may be made by calling Lynne Zimmerman at 207-595-0780. Masks are to be worn and social distancing observed. The program is sponsored by To Your Health of Western Mountains Senior College (WMSC). DiCocco will have a cooking demonstration and samples of various healthy foods. She will guide the audience with practical information about saving time and money while eating well. Be prepared for an interactive program of
discussion and fun.
DiCocco has been a frequent presenter for To Your Health programs. She recently retired after 26 years of cooking and operating DiCocoa’s Marketplace. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in education, she began teaching her “Fearless Natural Foods Cooking Classes” in Bethel in 1992 and has continued to hold classes over the years. Her goal is to inspire, to encourage people to “do what works best for them.”
Because she missed the contact with people since her retirement, DiCocco started her “Gelato and Cookies” part-time venture at her home this past summer. She looks forward to presenting her Healthy Eating program for further contact with friends.
Make your reservation early for one of these Healthy Eating programs. Seating is limited. Admission is free. Call Lynne Zimmerman at 207-595-0780.
