LISBON — Emily Libby scored a pair of goals to help Lisbon sidestep Boothbay with a 6-0 victory in an MVC field hockey game Wednesday.
Kayla Cooper, Haley Tuplin, Avia Russo and Riley Hoyle also scored for the Greyhounds (5-1). Haley Tuplin, Maddie Tuplin, Cooper and Russo also collected assists.
Winning goalie Maria Levesque made three saves.
Boothbay fell to 0-5 with the loss.
HALL-DALE 2, OAK HILL 1: Mira Skehan scored the eventual game-winning goal on an assist by Faith McDougal in the fourth quarter to lift the Bulldogs (2-4-1) to a victory over the Raiders (2-5) in Wales.
Kiley Rolfe, assisted by Lizzy Bickford, put Hall-Dale on the scoreboard in the third quarter. Goalie Jade Graham faced eight shots and made seven saves to earn the win.
Oak Hill’s Izzy Whitaker scored a fourth-quarter goal with assistance from Julie Mooney. Raiders goalie Ella Martin faced 15 shots and made 13 saves.
DIRIGO 6, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: The Cougars poured in five goals in the second quarter to pull away from the Falcons at Harlow Park in Dixfield.
Jayce Brophy scored all three of her goals in the frame, and Lana Waite and Grace Robbins also found the back of the cage in the quarter. Emily Woods opened the scoring in the first quarter off an assist from Kara Woods. Emily Woods had two assists, and Sylvia Hodsdon and Grace Averill also recorded helpers.
Alivia Ellis made three saves to earn the shutout for Dirigo, while Brooke Brown stopped 11 shots in goal for Mountain Valley.
GIRLS SOCCER
BUCKFIELD 8, CARRABEC 0: Annabelle Thone scored a hat trick and picked up two assists as the Bucks breezed to a lopsided victory over the Cobras (0-6) in Anson.
Brittany Carrier scored two goals and teammates Lailey Laughton, Mya Austin and Cora Brewster (two assists) each added goals.
Kianna Finnegan made one save for Buckfield, which improved to 5-2 with the win. Lily Cooley made 17 saves for Carrabec. The Bucks outshot the Cobras 25-1.
MEN’S SOCCER
CMCC 4, NHTI 1: The Mustangs punched in four goals in the first half and cruised to a win over the Lynx in Auburn.
Ivan Domingues scored two unassisted goals for Central Maine Community College in the first half, with Oleksandr Bruno and Romano Bassa each scoring a goal.
New Hampshire Technical Institute’s Albert Busimba put his team on the board with his goal. CMCC goalies Arnaud Nyagasaza and Davin Cloutier combined for eight saves.
