LEWISTON — Mohamed Adow and Campbell Cassidy each scored twice to pace Edward Little to a 6-1 win over Hampden in a boys soccer game played at Lewiston High School.
Adow added three assists while Abdihakim Daud notched a goal and two assists in the win. Tudum Monday also scored for the Red Eddies (2-0).
Ethan Marquis scored for the Broncos (0-1-1) in the second half.
Eli St. Laurent stopped three shots for Edward Little, while Hampden’s Sam Burnham had 10 saves.
POLAND 2, LAKE REGION 1: Oliver Olson and Talen Langevine each found the back of the net for the Knights (1-2) in their victory win over the Lakers (0-3) in Poland.

FRYEBURG 5, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Matayo Sbul scored a pair of second-half goals to help the Raiders (2-0) pull away from the Patriots (2-1) at Fryeburg.
Gari Daui also scored for Fryeburg in the second half, while goals by Michael Kratz and Jacob Adams gave the Raiders a 2-0 halftime lead.
Gray-New Gloucester got goals from Max Kenney and Andre Farrington, who converted a penalty kick.
Fryeburg keeper Myles Willimen recorded three saves. Drew Reynolds stopped six shots for the Patriots.
GIRLS SOCCER
BRUNSWICK 8, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Alexis Morin scored three goals as the Dragons (3-0) shut out the Red Eddies (0-2) in Brunswick.
Molly Tefft and Shannon Flanagan each had a goal and an assist for Brunwsick, while Molly Newell, Emily Doring and Hannah Hamilton also found the back of the net. Kynli Van Leer had two assists, and Lisi Palmer, Maddie Chaput and Kelsie Carlton had one apiece.
Sophia Morin made four saves in goal from Brunswick, while Edward Little’s Izzy Jalbert stopped three shots.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN/DIRIGO 1, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 0: Tyoaka Hodgkin scored the lone goal for the Phoenix (1-1) in the second half to defeat the Falcons (1-2 in Jay.
Jazmin Ryder recorded the assist on the goal and Emma Towers made nine saves in the win.
Justice Gendron stopped eight shots for Mountain Valley.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Isa Ross made six saves for Gray-New Gloucester (0-2-1) and Maya Mahan of Fryeburg (0-2-1) stopped nine shots as the teams played to a scoreless draw in Gray.
BUCKFIELD 4, MADISON 2: Chloee Bennett scored two goals and assisted on another as the Bucks (2-1) doubled up the Bulldogs (1-2) in Buckfield.
Kai Trenoweth notched a goal and an assist for Buckfield, and Brittany Carrier scored the other goal. Lailey Laughton and Alyssa Breton pitched in with assists. Kianna Finnegan made six saves for the Bucks.
Raegan Cowan played a part in both Madison goals, scoring one and assisting on Addison Belanger’s marker. Allison Tuscan stopped 14 shots for the Bulldogs.
FIELD HOCKEY
SKOWHEGAN 7, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Noru Tibbetts and Layla Conway each scored twice to lead the River Hawks (3-0) past the Red Eddies in Auburn.
Samantha Theberge, Kate Kelso and Masyn Atwood added a tally apiece in the victory. Emmah Carson stopped two shots in the cage.
Kasey Smith made 30 saves for Edward Little.
ST. DOMINIC 2, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER/NYA 1: Lorelei Bonney scored from Abigal Mitchell in overtime to lift the Saints (3-0) past the Patriots (1-3) in Gray.
Greta Tod put Gray-New Gloucester/North Yarmouth Academy on the board first midway through the second quarter. Ava Martin tied the game 1-1 in the third quarter for St. Dominic Academy.
Maia Cote made five saves for the Saints.
LEWISTON 10, HAMPDEN ACADEMY 3: Siara Laliberte paced the Blue Devils (1-2) with a hat trick in a victory over the Broncos (0-2) in Lewiston.
Savannah Connor-Schade and Lauren Core contributed with two goals each while Allison Lavallee and Reese Maynard notched a goal and an assist apiece. Maddy Freeman also scored a goal for Lewiston, with Olivia Crowley and Jenni Flynn each dishing out two assists. Kim McLaughlin stopped five shots.
Morgan Robinson scored all three goals for Hampden Academy and Jada Bilodeau made seven saves in the loss.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
SMCC 2, CMCC 2: Paige St. Pierre scored in the 50th minute as the SeaWolves (0-0-2) earned a tie with the Mustangs (0-2-1) in Auburn.
Kaitlyn Baker and Emma Knowles (from Emma Johnson) each scored for Central Maine Community College and Allie Annear racked up eight saves. Grayson Soldati made 11 saves for Southern Maine CC.
