I was asked why I am voting for U.S. Rep. Jared Golden.

I said, first, he votes for America and for the state of Maine, not the party. And we need more people like that in D.C., not “yes” men and women who do only what the party tells them to do.

Also, he is a Marine who has served our great nation with honor and in combat. So, he makes sure vets get proper treatments they need.

Now readers know why I’m voting for him. And the list goes on, but that is enough for me.
