I’m writing to support the re-election of State District 94 Rep. Kristen Cloutier.

I don’t live in Rep. Cloutier’s district; I live in Portland. But I’m a developer of mixed-income housing, and have worked with her on several projects to create high-quality, affordable rental housing in downtown Lewiston.

When we were working on The Hartley Block together, she was instrumental in persuading the City Council to support the project by selling us part of the land to build on, and providing two pieces of financing. She has recently supported our Picker House Lofts project in the Continental Mill on Oxford Street, which will turn 15% of that mill into both market-rate and income-restricted apartments, with a wide variety of amenities.

I have always found Rep. Cloutier to be well informed, hardworking, and guided by the desire to help as many Mainers as possible live with dignity.
