Former Gov. Paul LePage’s outlandish behavior made national news.
He said out-of-state drug dealers with names like “D-Money” impregnate young white girls. Told students reading newspapers in Maine is “like paying somebody to tell you lies.” Said he makes up stories to mislead the media.
Fake news comes from him. How do we know when he’s making it up or not?
Joked about bombing newspapers. Said Sen. Troy Jackson would be the first to give it to the people without Vaseline.
Claimed he’d leave office if Mainers asked him to. Many Mainers asked, but he wouldn’t.
He refused to attend a Martin Luther King Day breakfast and told the NAACP to “kiss my butt.” Claimed Democrat Andrew Gattine called him a racist. LePage left him a voicemail calling him a son-of-a ***** socialist, ****.
LePage is blatantly vulgar, angry and bombastic. A tiger can’t change his stripes.
