It’s dirty politics as usual.
With the stroke of a pen and without congressional approval, $300 billion of taxpayer money will be spent toward student loans. For the millions of hardworking Americans who didn’t pursue higher education because they simply couldn’t afford it, now they are being deprived of a free ride.
Once again, the president is spending our money at his convenience, penalizing the working people paying mortgages, car payments, etc.
Eliminating interest charges on student loans would have been a fair and responsible way.
Responsible actions in life start in everyone’s household, including 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. in Washington, D.C.
