FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA — Four JKA Karate athletes competed recently for AAU-Team USA at the 10th WUKF World Championship 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Mikaella Torres received a Bronze Medal in the 16-17-year-old Sparring Division and Ariana Touchette-Ruiz received a Gold Medal in the 16-17-year-old Long Weapons Division. Michael Umayam and Benjamin Farris placed in the Top 10 within their divisions

that had as many as 40 competitors and a total of 34 countries
