A new crisis, which has been developing for some time, is China having acquired a lot of American farmlands, mainly in the Midwest.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, China today controls about 191,652 acres of U.S. farmlands. I do not think American businesses would be allowed to purchase such farmlands in China.

The United Nations also recently said a global food crisis is already here, and it is expected that many people, including children, will starve to death.

I understand the Biden Administration has other priorities on its agenda, and our politicians are mostly looking to be re-elected, but I believe all Americans will face a more serious food supply shortage in the future if we allow China to keep buying up our farmlands.
