We only had a handful of correct answers for last week’s Mystery Photo of the old bridge over the Sandy River in Farmington Falls. The photo was taken through a piling for the new, temporary bridge being built. In a random drawing from all the correct responses, Kim Thurston of Livermore was picked as the winner of a $20 Hannaford Supermarket gift card. She wrote, “I recognize this Mystery Photo as a picture of the bridge they are getting ready to replace on Route 156 in Farmington Falls, Maine. It is looking through one of the pieces being used to make a temporary/new bridge. I recognize this because my husband frequently travels this road when we go visit his family that lives in Dexter, Maine. We take this road instead of using the interstate because it is a more scenic ride.”
