This season, shoppers using SNAP/EBT can earn Farm Fresh Reward vouchers to spend on seeds, seedlings and Maine-grown fruit and vegetables at participating retailers throughout the state.
With Farm Fresh Rewards, shoppers who buy local food with SNAP/EBT earn bonus dollars to buy more locally-grown fruit and vegetables.
Farm Fresh Rewards is a nutrition incentives program designed to stretch budgets and improve fresh food access for thousands of enrolled Mainers. If paying with SNAP/EBT at any participating store, customers who spend $10 on local food receive a $5 voucher for local food-producing seeds and seedlings and fresh, frozen and dried local fruit and vegetable purchases.
