The Lewiston School Nutrition Program is set to participate in the Summer Food Service Program.
Meals will be available at no charge to children attending school.
They are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service, according to a news release on the program.
All meals must be eaten on the site, as participants are not allowed to remove food from the site location, parks or playgrounds.
Meals will be provided at a first-come first-serve basis, Monday through Friday at the following sites: Hillview, 77 Rideout Ave.; Pleasant View Acres, 50 Fairmount St.; McMahon Elementary, 151 N. Temple St.; Root Cellar, 89 Birch St.
They will also be provided Monday through Thursday at Farwell Elementary, 84-110 Farwell St.; Lewiston High School, 156 East Ave.; Montello Elementary, 407 East Ave.; Lewiston Middle School, 75 Central Ave.; Connors Elementary, 400 Bartlett St.; and Geiger Elementary, 601 College St.
