Timothy A. Rector

SOUTH PARIS – Timothy A. Rector, 52, died unexpectedly in his sleep at home in South Paris of complications from a heart condition on Thursday, April 28, 2022.Tim was born in Norway Maine on April 10, 1970, the first son of Curtis A. Rector and Pamela L. (Thomas) Rector. He grew up in South Paris playing baseball and football and was a graduate of Oxford Hills High School, class of 1989.Tim enjoyed weightlifting and body building throughout his life, as his health allowed. As an adult Tim explored his talent as an artist, producing beautiful sketches and paintings. He was an avid motorcycle and auto enthusiast, enjoyed fishing and had a heart for dogs.Tim is survived by his loving parents; his son, Gavin Bandy; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Tim was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Scott Rector in 1994; and his grandparents Ralph and Mabel Thomas.A casual memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, May 5, at 3 p.m., at Deering Memorial Community Center (next to Paris Public Library) in South Paris.Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 45 Main St., South Paris.
