AMen’s 18+ Discernment Retreat is scheduled for May 13-15 at the Agassiz Village Campgrounds in Poland.
The retreat is for Catholic men who are discerning a possible call to the diocesan priesthood or religious life, according to a news release from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland.
The retreat will gather discerners from across Maine for a weekend of prayer, community and fun. Fr. Greg Dube, the director of the Diocese of Portland’s Office of Vocations and Seminarians, along with other Maine priests, will the lead the weekend retreat, which will include communal and individual prayer, spiritual talks from priests, and outdoor activities.
The registration deadline is Monday, May 9.
Participants are asked to bring their own sleeping bag, pillow, and towel for the weekend, as well as appropriate attire and shoes for being outdoors.
