Years ago, we had the best Sun Journal Craven family paper boys. Always dependable. That’s how I met Margaret Craven, as she worked as a cashier while studying for her college degree as a social worker.

Rep. Craven is just awesome; a caring high-energy woman. Young people have a hard time keeping up with her. I’m in awe at all the volunteering she does and her numerous awards and recognitions for improving our lives in Lewiston.

Margaret’s main focus has been on home care. What comes to mind is Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz: “there is no place like home.” Craven has supported keeping sick loved ones at home, strengthening health care and supporting caregivers, as she serves on the Health and Human Services Committee.

I ask residents to re-elect the Honorable Rep. Craven. She’s an awesome human being who listens, and is dependable and passionate about helping people.
