Lake Auburn’s shores have been the source of comfort and peace for many of us.

Its many inlets, outlets and tree lined banks have been a safe haven for loons, eagles, herons and many more species of our feathered friends.

But most importantly, the lake’s very existence has been the lifeblood of us all. Its ability to offer residents safe, healthy drinking water is now at risk.

We ask our city to please help to protect her, so that we may all enjoy clean drinking water and a healthy lake.

Her watershed should be protected from the proposed rezoning and imminent development.

Lake Auburn needs people’s attention right now. May it be protected and always valued by all.
