I am a lifelong resident of Auburn and have seen many people hold office in the State House.

I am so impressed with our Honorable State House Rep. Laurel Libby. I have not seen anyone work as hard as Laurel to help the people of Maine.

Her compassion for the people and the needs of the people are evident in the work she does in Augusta and the bills she has presented to protect the people of our great state of Maine.

The caregiver bill was one that hit home for me. Unfortunately, it was not passed in the House.

Inflation has hit a record high and is hurting the families in Maine. Temporarily suspending the gas tax is something that would help all people in the state. Every little bit helps.

I am thankful that Laurel Libby is my representative.
