A long-standing tradition of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club will be observed at this Wednesday’s luncheon meeting of the group at Steckino’s Restaurant. (Barbara) Ring soloist, and Mrs. Harvey E. (Hazel) Grant, her accompanist.

(from a Journal photo) Mrs. Lawler’s third-grade class at St. Joseph School held a poetry reading on Feb. 13 in the classroom. All students were required to memorize a poem at least four stanzas long. Parents and students of Mrs. Ayotte’s fourth-grade class were present to enjoy the young poets’ work. A party was held for the students after the reading. Some of the students shown are Sara Saunders, Lindsey Freeman and Bridget Duval.
The material used in Looking Back is produced exactly as it originally appeared although misspellings and errors may be corrected.
