The Paris Public Library and the Seneca Club plan to host a spring celebration scavenger hunt from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 2, at the Deering Memorial Community Center, 39 Main St. in South Paris.
Each participant who is able to discover all the items on their checklist will be awarded a bag of candy-filled easter eggs. The activity is open to all children, according to a news release from the library.
The library has an opening on its board of trustees. Any Paris resident at least 18 years old is welcome to submit their name for consideration by contacting any member of the library’s staff or board.
The library’s board meets monthly on the third Thursday of each month and is responsible for overseeing its operations and creating the policies of the library and center.
