JAY — Spruce Mountain Pharmacy has earned the Innovation Center Excellence Award for Best Exterior Sign, according a news release from the National Community Pharmacists Association.
“Congratulations to Spruce Mountain Pharmacy for earning the NICE Award for Best Exterior Sign,” association Innovation Center President Kurt Proctor said. “The NICE Awards spotlight the best of community pharmacy branding and marketing — the innovations and redesigns that have made promotions more effective and patients’ experiences more rewarding. Spruce Mountain did a great job in designing an attractive, eye-catching sign so existing and potential new patients approaching the store can instantly recognize it as a full-service pharmacy.”
Steve Maki opened Spruce Mountain Pharmacy in 2009. In 2019 he moved to a new location, with a new sign. Maki worked with Neokraft Signs in Lewiston to develop the sign, which has an LED display that allows the pharmacy to market latest news, seasonal updates, and the store’s various offerings, including its vaccine and compounding services. The base has a stonework planter for flowers.
“It’s a great sign and a great new location,” Maki said. “Everything just kind of fell into place.”
Spruce Mountain Pharmacy offers standard retail and over-the-counter products, compounding, medication adherence services, durable medical equipment, flu shots and immunizations, medication synchronization, medication therapy management services, private consultations, FlavorRx system, a drive-up window, compliance packing with RapidPakRx system, and cards and gifts.
