Maine people need to realize that the same Legislature that passed a bill to clean up the offensive motor vehicle license plates will be asking the Secretary of State’s Office of Motor Vehicles to clean up the mess it created initially.
One has to remember that this is the same government bureaucracy that has allowed motor vehicle offenders to keep their driver’s licenses, during the terms of at least two secretaries of state. It kind of makes one think as to who is minding the store. Is government protecting us as it says it is? Apparently not.
If we want to return our nation to the kinder and gentler nation it once was, it would seem the government would be a great place to start. Yet here is another example of bureaucracy asleep at the wheel as usual.
Come on.
