It has been a three-year wait for Julie Waite of Litchfield to get the tattoo Rob Beast, right, designed for her. Beast of Rhode Island Tattoo Co. began working on the tattoo Thursday afternoon at the Ramada by Wyndham Lewiston Hotel & Conference Center, where more than 50 tattoo artists from across the country are back for the annual Fuel the Arts Expo that had been put on hold because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The expo continues from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Visit sunjournal.com to watch a video from the expo. Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal
