RUMFORD — The Mountain Valley Rec Basketball League in conjunction with the Mountain Valley Athletic Boosters are happy to again host the annual Mountain Valley Rec Invitational Basketball Tournament. After a two-year hiatus, this popular basketball tournament is in demand. It will be the 21st year for men and the 3rd year for women. The women’s tournament will be on March 25-27. Games will be played on Friday night depending on the number of teams. Games will be at Mountain Valley High School. The cost is $250 per team. The men’s tournament will be Apr 1-3 and the cost is now $375 or $400 day of the game. Games will be at Mountain Valley High School, MVountain Valley Middle School, and Dirigo High School. All proceeds will benefit The Mountain Valley Athletic Boosters, teams from Mountain Valley and Dirigo, and other recreational programs in the River Valley.
